Hegel's philosophy of religion is not only a difficult point in understanding his philosophy of later years but also the key to understanding his philosophical development of this period. Its essentials rest with an understanding of the metaphysical method of constructing Hegel's philosophy of religion. Through an interpretation of Hegel's manuscripts for lectures on his philosophy of religion, this article discourses upon the logical framework of Hegel's philosophical thinking on which his philosophical thinking of religion relies, that is, the basic framework of his philosophical metaphysics.
