American Policy Toward Japan and Tokyo Trial

东京审判是二战后反法西斯国家对日本战犯进行的国际军事审判。在这场国际大审判中 ,美国自始至终发挥了主导作用。在法庭组织、法庭宪章起草、战争嫌疑犯的调查取证及被告的确定、起诉及法庭辩论等阶段 ,美国都做了大量工作 ,为审判的正常进行作出了贡献。但是 ,另一方面 ,在东京审判期间 ,美国利用其占领日本的有利条件 ,把美国的利益凌驾于盟国之上 ,独断行事 ,并对免究天皇的战争责任、大批释放在押战犯 ,负有主要责任。

The Tokyo trial was set by an international military court or tribunal of the antifascist allies after the World War II on trial of the Japanese war criminals. The U. S. took every thing including all the procedure of the court on itself all the while during the tribunal. It had did much work for the trial indeed. But there were things that the U. S. as an occupant of Japan took the advantage of the “No. 1” occupation place its interests above the other allies and acted arbitrarily, thereby the Us should hold responsible for no action was taken against Mikado the emperor of Japan the responsibility for the war, and the releasing a great numbers of Japanese war criminal in custody.
