The Keep-watch of Art and Poetry -The Subconscious Conversation of Taoism's Philosophy Ideology between Lin Yutang and Heidegger

中国现代作家林语堂(1895—1976)与德国哲学家海德格尔(1889—1976)在上个世纪30—40年代,不约而同地把现代哲学思考的目光投向了中国传统道家思想,而且都关注艺术和诗对西方技术世界的拯救作用,并希望藉此复归人类精神家园的栖息,反映出西方现代哲学的历史动向,孕育了中西哲学的潜对话。

Chinese modern writer Lin Yutang (1895-1976) and German Philosopher Heidegger (1889-1976) in 30-40s of last century simultaneously focused their attention on Chinese traditional Taoism Ideology, both of them paid much attention to the rescuing roles of art and poetry playing in western technology world and hoped that via this, the inhabitation of human's spiritual paradise could be regressed. It reflects the historical trends of western modern philosophy and fosters the subconscious conversation of Sino-western philosophy.
