The academic journals' editors should be responsible for the guarantee of the quality of cultural products, for the protection of humanistic spirit, and for the practice of editors' occupational morals. Humanistic spirit is man's self-concern that ensures the overall development of ideal personality. Humanistic spirit is the core of a good editor's occupational morals. To enhance humanistic spirit among editors, some requirements should be satisfied: realization of man's nature and value, pursuit of real and meaningful life, adherence to the ultimate concern of editing academic journals, realization of self - value through historical and culture - building's perspective, and the carrying forward of the subject spirit. During the period of market economy and social transformation, many people feel puzzled and there are some problems in occupational morals. To develop good morals, we should stand firm and guard our spiritual home, adhere to humanistic spirit, and improve our sense of responsibility.
