敦煌草书写卷《大乘起信论略述卷上》考订

Textual Examination of Dunhuang Cursive Script Scroll Volume One of A Survey of Mahayana Sraddhotpadasastra

法国国家图书馆所藏“伯二一四一”号《大乘起信论略述卷上》是敦煌草书写卷的代表作,日本所出《大正新修大藏经》第85卷收录了全文。然而,由于草书写卷识读上的特殊困难,以及本卷内容在引文、解说、评述等方面的变化多端,因此要正确作出断句和标点,就不是那么容易了。本文作者在逐字逐句核对原卷真迹、传世经文等多种重要资料的基础上,对《大正新修大藏经》存在的点校疏漏作了订补,给读者提供了更为准确与方便的录文。这里刊登的是其开端部分(全文共4万余字)。

Volume One of A Survey of Mahayana Sraddhotpadasastra collected by the French National Library (P.2141) is a representative work of Dunhuang cursive script scrolls,the complete text of which is included in the Japanese Dazang Buddhist Scriptures Revised in the Reign of Dazheng. However, due to the special difficulty in working out cursive - style scripts, and the many variations of this very volume in its quotations, annotations, and comments, it is not an easy job to punctuate and decide where a sentence begins or ends. Based on a word - for - word check on the genuine script of the original and many other important documents such as those scriptures passed on from old times, the author of this paper has come up with his corrigenda of and supplement to all the slips and neglects in the Japanese volume, thus making it a more accurate and convenient reading for the readers.
