摘要
学衡派对新诗的批评,是与五四新文化派论争交锋的火力点,这种批评常与西方现代诗歌特别是意象主义和象征主义关联。学衡派对意象主义的否定和对象征主义的接受,是对称摆动的外攻和内守两端,核心是古典诗学观和对新文化的想象、参与。该文论析和探讨过去为人们所忽视的学衡派另面文学景观,并重新检讨它与五四新文学运动的关系。
The focus of contest between the May 4th new culture school and Xue Heng School is the criticism by Xue Heng School on New Chinese Poetry. Xue Heng School's negation of imagism and ac-ception of symbolism are the two ends of the swinging pendulum. The core of their opinions is classic poetics and the imagination and participation of new culture movement. This paper discusses Xue Heng School's another sight in the shade, and surveys its relation to the May 4th new literature movement.
