On the Principles of China's Entry of the United Nations by Mao Zhe-dong

中华人民共和国于1949年10月1日成立,按照国际公认的准则应立即恢复在联合国的合法席位,但以美国为首的西方反华势力,采取制造“两个中国”等卑鄙手段,千方百计地反对和阻挠中国进入联合国。面对这种错综复杂的国际形势,以毛泽东为首的中国共产党的第一代领导集体,制定了中国进入联合国的根本原则,维护了中国主权的完整,粉碎了西方反华势力分裂中国的阴谋。

When the People's Republic of China was founded on October 1st, 1949, its legal seat should have been restored straight away in the United Nations, in accordance with the internationally-acknowledged norms. However, the anti-China power in the West led by the U. S. tried every means to oppose to and prevent from China's entry of the U.N.by the base means of 'Two China', etc.In such complex international situations, the first leading group of CPC headed by Mao Zhe-dong laid down the fundamental principles for the China's entry of the U. N. , maintaining the full sovereignty of China and meanwhile smashing the conspiracies to separate China conceived by the anti-China power in the West.
