摘要
随着社会变迁 ,传媒经历了由人群平等地发布、传递信息到对传媒的控制再到传媒对人群的控制的演变过程。传媒本身的功能因为不同社会而被赋予相异的社会功能 ,以至于在当代传媒已上升为“第四种权力”。传媒的多重性、多元性规定了它的中性属性。但传媒者和受众对传媒的价值选择是传媒的社会地位的定义力量 ,这将是对传媒进行社会控制的交点。
With the development of the society, news-communication experienced the period from broadcasting information equally by people to controlling news-communication and then to controlling people by news communication. Nowadays news-communication has been transformed as 'the forth power'. The versatility of news-communication determines its neutrality. But the value-decision and value selection of news-mongers and news-receivers must be considered attentively.
