Sino-South Korea Economic Growth Characteristic Comparative Analysis

中韩两国的高速经济增长存在相似性 :一是在“强政府”主导下 ,通过高储蓄和高投资率带来的 ,实行的是经济不平衡超越战略 ;二是在高速经济增长中实现了工业化 ;三是经济发展过程中 ,存在高增长高波动现象 ;四是经济的增长对外依赖程度越来越高。韩国金融危机的爆发使我们认识到两国经济应该从片面追求数量增长的追赶型战略转向数量与质量并重的平衡型战略 ,根据本国的实际情况完成经济结构和产业结构的调整和开放程度。

According to a comparative analysis of Sino-South Korea(1953-2000) economic growth characteristic in this paper, we find that there are four similarities on high economic growth of China and South Korea. Firstly, under strong government- oriented circumstance, both countries have adopted economic imbalanced surpass strategy through high saving and investment rate. Secondly, both countries have realized industrialization in high economic growth. Thirdly, during the period of economic development, there is a great deal of high growth rate and volatility phenomenon in economy of both countries. Finally, economic growth of both countries has more and more depended upon external economy. Suffered from the South Korea financial crisis, we have realized that we should turn our quantity-growth imbalanced strategy to quantity & quality growth balanceable strategy, and achieve the adjustment and opening degree of the economic and industrial structure according to our countries' actual condition.
