十月革命后,苏俄和共产国际为摆脱孤立的局面,在中国实施其东方战略,采取的方针是北联吴佩孚,南联陈炯明。其初衷破灭后,在联合对象上才进行转向,加速了联合孙中山的步伐。这段历史是苏俄和共产国际与中国革命实质关系的开端。

After the Ocotober Revolution, Soviet Russia and the Communist International appilied their Oriental strategy to China. They united Wu Peifu in the north and Cheng Jiongming in the south. But with their original intention unfulfilled, they specded up the contact with Sun Zhongshan. The process was the beginning of real cooperation between Soviet Russia and the Communist Internatinal.
