The necessities and feasibilities for the application of the Decision Support System (DSS) in the pumping station renovation are expounded through analyzing the problems existing in the decision of pumping station renovation and the characters of these problems. Furthermore, the application foreground of DSS in pumping station renovation is also explored preliminarily.
