目的 :探析针灸英译句子的基本特点及其翻译技巧。方法 :从时态、语态、语气、条件句、祈使句、句子结构、文体等方面找出针灸英译句子的基本特点 ,从直译法、意译法、音译法、音意结合法、西医借用法、释义法等方面分析汉英针灸翻译的方法。结论 :针灸英译句子是有其自身特点的 ,所探讨的翻译技巧能够满足针灸汉英翻译的需要。

Objective To explore the basic sentence characteristics of Chinese English translation of Chinese acupuncture and moxibustion science and to discuss the basic translation techniques. Methods The basic characteristics have been found out from the aspects of tense, voice, mood, conditional adverbial clause, imperative sentence, structure and style. The translation techniques have been discussed from word to word translation, free translation, transliteration, transli teration & free translation, western medicine terminology, explanation. Conclusion Sentences translated from Chinese acupuncture and moxibustion science have their own characteristics. The discussed translation techniques can meet the needs of Chinese English translation of Chinese acupuncture and moxibustion science.
