摘要
本文论述英语语体学与跨文化交际学研究对大学外语教学改革的启示意义和实践价值,认为语体学与跨文化交际学的研究成果不仅有助于改进大学外语教学方法,教材编写和测试方法,而又有助于从宏观上培养和提高学生的跨文化语用和交际能力。
This paper argues that functional stylistics and cross-cultural communication research can shed much light on the current ELT reform for non-English majors in China. The insights drawn from the above-mentioned two research areas can be of much help and value to the ELT with respect to its teaching methodology, material development and language testing methods as well as the cultivation of the pragmatic and communicative competence on the part of the students.
