摘要
最近几年“费时低效”似乎成了人们对大学英语教学的定论。笔者认为这样的结论既不客观,也不公正。如果并不予以纠正,会对大学英语教学产生误导性影响。本文以科学的态度,用大量的事实和数据,驳斥了大学英语教学“费时低效”的观点,以期我们能尊重事实,尊重科学,尊重语言学习的基本规律,脚踏实地地工作和学习,真正提高大学英语教学的质量。
In recent years, the comment of 'time-consuming with low efficiency' seems to have become a final conclusion to college English teaching and learning. However, in the author's view, it is neither objective nor fair. If the idea were not rectified any longer, it might have a negative impact on college English teaching and learning. Therefore, this paper, adopting a scientific attitude, refutes the comment with a lot of evidence. It informs us to value facts and science, to abide by the regular patterns of language learning, and to do a down-to-earth job so that the quality of college English teaching and learning can be improved in a real sense.
