陕西小爪螨属—新种(蜱螨亚纲:叶螨总科)

A NEW SPECIES OF OLIGONYCHUS FROM CHINA(ACARI:TETRANYCHIDAE)

本文记述小爪螨属一新种——水杉小爪螨 Olionychus melasequoiae sp.nov.。

All measurements arc in micron.Typc specimens are deposited in the Nanjing AgriculturalUniversity and the Institute of Zoology,Academia Sinica.OIigonychus metasequoiae sp.nov.is similar to O.ununguis(Jacobi),but the apex of terminal scnsillumin female appears taper form,the ratio of length and breadth about 3 times.Empodium with 4 parirs ofslender proxima-ventral spines.Near the duplex setae of tarsi of leg Ⅰ and Ⅱ with 4 setae in basalis lateral.The ratio of length and breadth of terminal sensillum in palpus of the male about 2 times,its apex in obtuseform.Holotype♀,allotype♂,paratype 24♀♀,5♂♂.July,1990,collected by Liu Chanrui,LiuXingguo and Li Gianyou from Hanzhong(33°N,107°E),Shanxi Province.Host:Metasequoia glyptostroboides.
