RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE FLOOD SEASON RAINFALL IN SHANXI AND THE TELECONNECTION PATTERN OF THE GENERAL CIRCULATION AT THE EARLIER STAGE

摘要 采用自然正交函数(EOF)及扩展的自然正交函数(EEOF)分解方案,分析北半球1月500百帕高度场及西安等8站汛期(6—9月)降水总量,得到了能够表现遥相关结构主要特征的遥相关型,发现主要的遥相关型与陕西降水有密切的联系。 The resolution methods of empirical orthogonal function (EOF)and extendedempirical orthogonal function (EEOF) are used to analyse the Northern Hemisphere500hPa height field in January and the total rainfall at Xian and other seven weather sta-tions in the flood season (from June to September),obtaining not only the primary pat-tern describing the teleconnection structure but also the close relation between the basicteleconnection pattern of the general circulation and the flood season rainfall in Shanxi.
