A Relevance Theoretic Account of Indirect Speech Act

间接言语行为理论极具语用价值 ,但亦存在一定局限性。关联理论能有效阐释间接言语行为的理解过程和心理机制。信息意图与交际意图之间的信息差 ,最大关联与最佳关联之间的平衡度 。

Indirect speech act theory has some limitations while it is of great pragmatic value. Relevance theory can throw light on the processing and psychological mechanism of indirect speech act in which three factors play a critical role, namely, the information gap between informative intention and communicative intention, the balance degree of maximal relevance and optimal relevance, especially the completion and extension of cognitive context.
