摘要
人力资源管理是现代企业发展中的一项重要工作。美、日两国都是市场经济发达的国家,对人力资源管理工作向来极为重视。但由于历史的原因和国情的不同,美、日两国企业在人力资源管理的很多具体做法方面,如员工的招聘与录用、员工的使用与管理、员工的教育与培训、员工的薪酬与福利待遇、管理人员的选拔与任命等方面,却存在着很大的差异性,取得的效果也不尽相同。近年来,随着经济全球化步伐的加快,美、日两国企业加强了相互之间的学习与借鉴,在人力资源管理方面相互取长补短,使各自的人力资源管理模式不断完善。
The human resource management (HRM) is the key to success in modern businesses. For this reason, in advanced countries like the Unites States and Japan, special emphasis has always been placed on HRM. However, for reasons due to history and because of differences of countryspecific situations, great differences exist human resource management in businesses in the United States and Japan, especially in the selection and hiring of employees, use and management of employees, employee training, compensation and benefits, and the promotion and appointment of the management. Different practices have produced quite different results. In recent years, with the quickening pace of globalization, U. S and Japanese enterprises are exerting all efforts to learn form each other and complement each other. They are trying to perfect their respective model of HRM according to the actual circumstances of their own country.
