后现代主义幻象和比较文学

The Illusions of Postmodernism and Comparative Literature

本文回顾了国外关于“现代与后现代”的论争以及西方马克思主义学者对后现代主义的批评,审视了我国比较文学研究者对后现代西方文化思潮影响做出的不同反应。文章认为,在多元话语的今天,从不同角度出发,对比较文学学科的理论进行探讨,提出截然不同的主张,是学术繁荣的体现。为了更好开展外国文学和比较文学的研究,我们可以借鉴西方后现代文化批评,但不必过分夸大它的影响力。

The paper reviews the debate about modernism and postmodernism abroad, and the criticism on postmodernism by western Marxists. It also examines the varied responses given by Chinese researchers of comparative literature to the influences from the postmodern cultural thoughts in the west. It suggests that for studies of foreign literature and comparative literature, people can use for reference the western criticism of postmodernism without exaggerating its effects.
