Described the design and application of an intelligent amplifier in CATV network. This intelligent amplifier can prevent illegal TV signal from entering television network effectively. It can identify and cut off illegal TV signal thoroughly. The level of signals in the amplifier can be monitor and be controlled in remote. It is an effectual tool for managing or maintaining CATV network.
