八角莲新品种——红花八角莲

A New Hybrid Variety of Dysosma

红花八角莲系从以川八角莲为母本、八角莲为父本的杂交群体中选育出来的新品种。该品种为多年生宿根草本 ,具大型盾状叶 ,花期 2～ 4月 ,未成熟果为绿色 ,成熟时由蓝色变为红色 ;适合盆栽和庭院栽培 ,供观叶、观花和观果。

A new hybrid variety of Dysosma ,'Honghua Bajiaolian',is selected from hybrid population between Dysosma veitchii and D.versipellis .The new variety is characterized by big peltate leaves,red flowers and fruits,long flowering date form Feb.to Apr.and easy propagate.The new hybrid variety is a good ornamental plant for enjoying flowers,leaves and fruits.
