The Tong'anxi Bridge,damaged by flooding during a storm,was reinforced and rehabilitated to its original design grade.To rehabilitate the bridge by reinforcing was the first alternative to adopt to repair the bridge as the duration of repair was short and the cost was low.The practice and experience presented herein may be of reference for the designs and implementation of similar projects.
