Geomantic omen is a proper architectural culture's phenomenon in archaic China. It not only has the experiential knowledge in accord with external rule, but also adulterates much superstitious content. Geomantic omen influenced many aspects of residential buildings, such as choosing building's position, house's location, interior arrangement, etc. The architects and planners should utilize its scientific and reasonable components actively, and create more favorable humanistic environment for residential buildings.
