对一门语言的真正掌握,不仅包括运用语法正确地遣词造句,还包括根据交际情景选择语域的能力。对语域的正确选择首先表现在对词汇的正确选择上,还表现在对语体的正确选择上。英语教学中,教师应对语域有足够的认识,从而培养学生正确选择语域,使用得体语言进行交际的能力。

Real mastery of a language consists not only in the ability to construct grammatically correct sentences , but also in the ability to choose the proper register according to particular circumstances or contexts. To choose the proper register first means to choose the correct vocabulary , and then the correct style. In English teaching practice , teachers should attach importance to register , and train the students to choose the correct register and use proper language to communicate.
