Improving on the Processing Hole Sealing For IC Engine Cylinder Blocks and Heads

内燃机机体和气缸盖工艺孔的密封性是影响发动机使用性、可靠性、寿命的重要因素。本文分析了目前常用铸件工艺孔密封方式的优缺点,介绍了乐泰厌氧胶的品种、性能和工艺孔碗形塞密封的设计要点。实践证明,采用乐泰密封技术,工艺孔的密封性能可以大大提高,并可降低加工成本等。

The processing hole sealing of ICE castings is an important factor which affects the engine service performance, reliability and operating life. In this paper, strong and weak points of different sealing methods for the casts are analized. Introduction is made for the varieties, properties of Loctite anaerobic glues and the main points of designing cup plugs for sealing processing holes are presented. It is proved that sealing performance of processing holes can be greatly improved and production cost be reduced by using Loctite sealing technology.
