摘要
内燃机设计理论和方法有了较大的进展:零件的强度计算,已经从材料力学公式计算发展为有限元计算;从静态设计发展到动态设计;从可行性设计发展到优化设计;从安全系数法设计发展到可靠性设计和有限寿命设计;从人工设计和经验设计发展为计算机辅助设计;从局部方法设计发展为系统工程设计;从陈旧的外型设计发展为工业艺术设计.先进的设计方法,来源于先进的设计理论.设计理论和设计方法的进展,将对我国内燃机产品发展产生重大的影响.
Theory and method on internal combustion engine design have been developed considerably. For instance, strength of engine parts is being calculated with finite element method instead of with simple formulae from traditional theory of mechanics of materials; reliability evaluation is being based on fatigue statistics and finite life expectation instead of on simple safety factor; design methods have been developed from static to dynamic design, from feasible to optimal design, from local empirical to systemengineering design, from manual to computer aided design, and from old external configulation design to modern industrial art design. The advanced design methods come from the advanced design theory or philosophy, they will give a great impetus to development of our domestic engine products.
