The Research on Chinese Firms Scale Economy

专业化和分工使得企业的报酬呈现出递增的趋势,但随着企业规模的扩大,其有关成本也会相应增加,所以,企业的收益在开始时会随着生产规模的扩大而增加,当规模的扩大超过某一限度时,企业的收益反而会减少,这就是规模经济问题。中国企业具有规模经济效应吗?利用上市公司数据,通过实证分析,中国的上市公司的规模经济效应不明显,只有个别行业具有规模经济效应,而大多数行业则不具备。

The reward of enterprise appears a progressive an increasing trend because of specialization and labor division, but relative cost can be increased with the enlargement of enterprise scale. So the income of enterprise increases at the beginning with the production scope enlarged,ut when the enlargement of scope surpasses certain degree, the income of enterprise can be reduced. This is the law of scale economy. Does Chinese enterprise possess the scale economy effect? Using the data of listed corporation, by way of empirical the analysis, we think that the scale economy effect of Chinese firms is not apparent. Though a few trades possesses the scale economy effect, while most of them have not got the effec-tvet.
