考察“魂”与“魄”及其相关的复合词在李白诗歌中的用法,可以看出,李白诗歌中“魂”与“魄”作为对义词而决不混用,李白对“魂”与“魄”的使用既严格遵循上古汉语的用法,又体现出他的道教信仰,由此诠释了道家用“精魄”一词表达构成生命物质的观念。

An examination of the usage of 'hun' and 'po' and their related compounds in Li(Bai's) poems reveals that 'hun' and 'po' are not confused in his poems and that Li Bai strictly follows the ancient Chinese usage of the words which embodies his Taoist belief and interprets the Taoist concept of life-composing substance in 'jing po'.
