An Analysis of Yang Pao-an's Contribution to Marxism with Chinese Characteristics and Its Implication

杨匏安被誉为"岭南传播马克思主义第一人",他是党内较早自觉地将马克思主义与中国实际相结合的代表人物之一。杨匏安对马克思主义中国化的贡献主要体现在三个方面:一是在思想启蒙方面系统宣传了马克思主义,二是在党建思想上率先提出建立统一战线,三是在斗争策略上探索出了中国革命分"两步走"的道路。杨匏安的这些贡献对于新时期进一步开创马克思主义中国化的新境界具有重要的启示意义。

As 'the first person spread Marxism in South China', Yang Pao-an is one of the representatives in the Party that consciously combined Marxism with China's reality in early time. His contribution to Marxism with Chinese Characteristics mainly reflects in three aspects. Firstly, in terms of Enlightenment, he publicized Marxism systematically; secondly, he first proposed in the thought of the Party construction that the Party should form a united front; thirdly, in terms of struggle strategy, he explored that the Chinese revolution should take two steps. His contributions play an important role in further creating a new realm of Marxism in the new period.
