多模态视角下中国博士研究生学术论文陈述的现状分析

摘要 随着双一流高校建设的推进,参加国际学术会议并宣读论文是博士研究生与国际接轨的一个重要平台。然而,在国际会议上用英语进行学术交流对于中国博士研究生仍然是个巨大挑战。为了探讨中国博士研究生在论文陈述方面的现状,本研究采集了九名重庆大学刚入学的博士研究生做英文学术论文陈述的视频资料,从多模态的视角对陈述的四个模态进行分析,并结合深度访谈,发现博士研究生倾向于使用口语语言来讲解论文,对于态势语言的使用则较少;博士研究生论文陈述中主要存在的不足在于口语语言模态对书面语言模态依赖性强,书面语言模态和非语言材料模态直观性差。 With the advancement of the construction of double first-class universities,doctoral students should strengthen international academic communicative ability. Participating in international academic conferences and delivering paper presentation is an important way for doctoral candidates to update their academic information. However,using English to make academic communication is still a challenge for doctoral students. In order to reveal the current situation faced by Chinese doctoral students in paper presentations,this study videotape the English academic paper presentation by doctoral students with no experience of paper presentation in Chongqing University. By analyzing their presentation from four modes and combining interview,we found that they tend to present their academic paper in spoken mode rather than other modes. The main deficiencies are that the spoken mode is strongly dependent on written language,and the written language modality and non-linguistic material modality are with poor intuition.
