A Study on the Yellow River Suoqiao Ferry and the First State Road from Chang’an to the Western Regions in Han Dynasty

索桥黄河渡口(图1),位于甘肃省靖远县与景泰县之间的黄河东西两岸,为古丝绸之路上最重要、历史最悠久、通行时间最长的黄河渡口之一,也是连通长安—河西—西域之间路途最短、最便捷的黄河渡口。一索桥黄河渡口遗址调查笔者曾两次到索桥渡口遗址一带实地考察,摸清了其遗迹及历代变迁状况,并撰文《唐代会宁关及其相关问题考》予以探讨1.

The Yellow River Suoqiao Ferry that had was situated at two banks of the Yellow River in Jingyuan county and Jingtai county in Gansu Province,it was the most convenient and important ferry in the First State Road from Chang’an(长安)to the Western Regions(西域)in the Han Dynasty.This text has inspected and researched the ruins and its historical course of change and development of the Yellow River Suoqiao Ferry,besides,has systematically investigated and researched many relics and historical remains along the First State Road.
