Innovation-Independence-Open Mind--The Spirits Chinese Universities Need after Entering into WTO

加入WTO以后,中国大学精神应主要强调创新精神、独立精神和开放精神。创新精神是大学创造知识、科学发明的最本质要求,是大学精神的灵魂:独立精神是加入WTO以后中国大学自立于世界的最基本要求,是大学精神的内核;开放精神是创新的动力,是大学精神的支柱。

This paper illustrates the spirits Chinese universities shoud focus on after entering into WTO as follows: being the soul of college spirits, innovative spirit is the essential requirement for university's creating knowledge and doing science research; being the core of college spirits , independent spirit is the most fundemental requirement for Chinese unniversities to stand out in the world; being the prop of university spirit, open spirit is the incentive for innovation.
