膠州灣砂壳纖毛蟲的三個新種

THREE NEW SPECIES OF TINTINNOPSIS COLLECTED FROM KIAOCHOW BAY, SHANTUNG, CHINA.

关于胶州湾砂壳纤毛虫,作者曾作过一次调查,研究材料皆以浮游生物纲在胶州湾内及青岛栈桥附近采得。自1947年11月至1948年10月,及1950年9月、10月,每月采集二次或三次,依外壳之形态,分析结果,共得31种,隶于9个属。在此期间,并曾找得另有三种,隶属于铃壳纤毛虫科(Codonellidae Kent 1882),拟铃虫属(Tin-tinopsis Stein 1867),而为前人所未曾报导者。兹经作最后之研究和分析,定为新种。附图均以画图镜依实物制成,模式标本,存于山东大学生物系。

Their characteristics arc described and summarized as follows. Tintinnopsis kiaockowensis sp. nov. (Fig. 1) Loriea too--shaped, 2. 11-2. 78 (2. 35) oral diameters in length; bowl di- vided into nuchal region find bowl proper; the nuchal region with 3 or 4 spiral turns; with a constriction at the middle region; bowl proper subglobse, with a convex conieal 78°-95°(87°) aboral portion; aboral end blunt; wall with coarse foreign particles; 95-108 (102) μ in length, 30-52 (42)μ in oral di- ameter and 48-70 (57)μ in diameter of nuchal region. This new species differs from other species of the genus in the presence of three or four spiral turns on the nuchal region and a constriction at the middle region. Tintinnopsis tsingtaoensis sp. nov. (Fig. 2) Lorica urn-shaped, 1. 60-2. 71 (1. 98) oral diameters in length; collar erect and cylindrieal, always shorter than the bowl proper, 0. 06-0. 3 (0. 15) total length in length; oral rim ragged; bowl proper spherical or ovoid, aboral end conical or sometimes rounded; wall of collar and bowl agglomerated with coarse foregin particles without spiral turns; 76--125 (94)μ in length, 31-53 (48)μ in oral diameter, 5-35 (14)μ in length of collar and 60-78 (73)μ in transdiameter of bowl. This new species differs from Codonellopsis mobilis in the presence of the collar with coarse foreign particles,and from other species of the genus in the presence of a erect and short collar. Tintinnopsis hemispiralis sp. nov. (Fig. 3) Lorica tall tubular, 2. 51-3. 79 (3. 06) oral diameters in length; oral rim minutely ragged and not everted; bowl divided into an anterior half and a pos- terior half; the anterior half subcylindrical with 5-7 spiral turns; 0. 36-0. 56 (0. 47) total length in length; the posterior half oblong and convex conical; aboral end bluntly acute or rounded; the transdiameter of posterior half equaling or a little exceeding the diameter of the anterior half; wall agglomerated with coarse foreign particles; 88-164 (124)μ in length and 34-53 (41)μ in oral diameter. This new species differs from Tintinnopals gracilis Kofoid and Campbell, Tps. tubulosa Levander and Tps. subacuta Jorgensen in having the bowl divided into an anterior and a posterior half and the anterior half with spiral turns; and from Tps. tubulosoides Meunier in the absence of the adherent spicules at the oral margin.
