In the process of automobile industry in China from a big country of production to an innovation powerhouse,coating equipment industry in China will face great opportunities and challenges.Through a clear and comprehensive summary of the technical status of domestic painting equipment,we can realize that carrying out technological innovation is the only way to make a favorable position for Chinese painting equipment in the long-term market competition.In this paper,the general direction and the specific content of the coating technology development in the domestic coating equipment industry are proposed.
