OM TERRACE, Omiya Discussion on the Urban Continuum of "Community Cultivation"

日本大宫城市设计中心以"产+官+学+民"联合行事为特点,探索着自下而上社区设计的有效模式。藤村龙至的OM TERRACE设计,正是在这一组织下的成功实践。它将"社区培育"的理念,贯彻到整个策划、设计和运营过程中,尝试创造社区新的连续性。

The Omiya Urban Design Center(UDCO)is characterized by a joint effort of 'Industry + Authority+ Learning + Civilian', exploring an effective model of the bottom-up community design. Fujimura’s OM TERRACE is a successful example of practicing this way of organization.It implements the concept of 'community cultivation' throughout the planning, design and operation process, and tries to create a new continuity of the community.
