A PRELIMINARY STUDY ON THE PODONTIA TUTEA OLIVIER OF TOXICONDENDRON VERNICIFLUA (STOKES)

漆树黄叶甲是贵州漆树的主要害虫。自1982年以来经多次深入林区调查、在本院饲养、观察,基本掌握了该虫的分布、生活史、习性及危害特点,并提出了防治意见。

Podontia tutea Oliver is main insect of the toxicondedron verniciflua (stekes) in Guizhou province. Since 1982 writer has been to the production areal of T. verniciflua for several times to investigate and collect some of the insect. In Guizhou Agricultural college feeding experiment has been done, The distribution, the life history, the habit and damage characteristis of the insect have been observed. The suggestion about pest control has been give out.
