On the Flexible Principle in the Usang of Variant Forms of Chinese Words

现代汉语中异形词的出现有一个历史发展的过程 ,涉及形、音、义多个方面 ,虽然第一批异形词整理表已经公布 ,但我们对一些作为历史文化鉴证仍以原貌保持在作品中的异形词 ,应遵从“历时异形 ,共时定形”的原则 ,把柔性推荐词形的使用认定为一定时期的硬性规范 ,以免引起使用上的混乱。

It is the process of historical development connected with the appearance of variant forms of Chinese words in modem Chinese,which involves forms,pronunciations and meanings etc.Although the systematizing list of the first batchof variant forms of Chinese words has already publishes, some variant forms of Chinese words as the witness of historical culture. Should follow the principle'variant forms in the successive times,set form in the same time.'The forms of words under the flexible principle are to be considered the hard and fast standard in certain time in order to avoid confusion in the usage.
