社会指示语反映一定语境下社会活动参与者的面貌 ,以及社会地位和亲疏关系。本文探讨了英汉社会指示语的差异 ,并提出社会指示语的语用等值翻译方法。

Social deixis concerns the encoding of social distintions that are relative to participant-roles in a certain context.And it is a mirror of the social status and intimacy.This paper deals with the diversity of the social deixis between English and Chinese. This paper also puts forward the approches of the pragmatic equivalent translation of the social deixis.
