The commonly used packaging materials are paper packaging and plastic packaging.This paper analyzed the detection technology research progress of toxic and harmful substances in these two kinds of food packaging materials.Toxic and harmful substances in packaging materials seriously threaten human health.Relevant national departments must strengthen food packaging safety testing,promote food packaging safety standards,and promote the healthy development of China’s food industry.
