XU Yunsheng's Experience in Treating Type 2 Diabetes with Hyperlipidemia

徐云生认为2型糖尿病合并高脂血症本虚标实为主要病机特点,虚指先天禀赋不足、五脏俱虚,以肾虚为主,实即痰浊、瘀血、气滞,治疗当以扶正祛邪为法,初期祛邪为主,后期补虚为主,补肾贯穿全程。具体辨证以肝肾阴虚、痰湿阻遏、血瘀脉络、肝郁气滞四型为主,分别方选杞菊地黄丸、导痰汤合半夏白术天麻汤、丹参饮与加味四物汤、柴胡疏肝散加减。

XU Yunsheng believes that the main pathogenesis feature of type 2 diabetes with hyperlipidemia is deficiency in the root and excess in the branch. The deficiency refers to the insufficiency of the innateness and the five internal organs,especially the kidney deficiency. The excess refers to the turbid phlegm,blood stasis and qi stagnation. So the treatments focused on eliminating pathogen and supplementing the healthy qi. During the initial stage,the treatment focused on eliminating pathogen while during the advanced stage,the treatment focused on tonifying the deficiency,while tonifying the kidney throughout the whole stage. The specific syndromes include the following four types:liver and kidney yin deficiency,phlegm and dampness obstruction,blood stasis and liver qi stagnation. The prescriptions:Qiju Dihuang Pills,Daotan Decoction with Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction,Danshen Drink and Jiawei Siwu Decoction,Chaihu Shugan Powder addition and subtraction were chosen respectively.
