Writing Characteristics of Popular Medical Books in Qing Dynasty

清代普及类医著是中医药类书籍之大宗,可划分为歌诀类、辞赋类、图注类、其他类四种。歌诀类书籍有简便易明、返璞归真、互相渗透的特点;辞赋类博采众长,观之遂解,便于指导临证,词句韵律严格、灵动独特;图注类面面俱到,直观生动又韵味深长;其他类包含广泛,形式多样,或规律整齐、浅显易懂,或内容繁多、细腻创新,或抽丝剥茧、引人入胜。

In the Qing Dynasty,popular medical books were the main part of Chinese medicine books,which could be divided into four categories:songs,genres,legends,and other categories. The books of songs have the characteristics of being simple,easy to be understood,primary and mutual infiltration. The books of genres learn from other books,easy to be understood,and guide the clinics with strict and flexible rhythm.The books of legends are all inclusive,vivid and full of charm. Other categories include a wide range,diverse forms,or regular,easy to be understood,or a wide range of content,delicate,innovative and fascinating.
