Cause Analysis and Improvement Measures of Cold Heading Cracking of Low Carbon Cold Heading Steel SWRCH8A

针对SWRCH8A线材在生产过程中发生开裂质量问题,对线材进行酸洗、金相及电镜能谱检测分析,分析表明该质量问题是由于钢坯表面卷渣造成的冷镦开裂质量问题。通过金相及电镜能谱检测分析查找造成冷镦开裂原因,提出了相应的改善冷镦钢质量措施。

In view of the cracking quality of SWR CH8 A wire during production,acid pickling,metallographic examination and energy spectrum analysis of electron microscopy were carried out.The analysis showed that the quality problem was caused by cold heading cracking caused by slag entrapment on the surface of billet.By means of metallographic examination and electron microscopic energy spectrum analysis,the causes of cold heading cracking were found out,and the corresponding measures for improving the quality of cold heading steel were put forward.
