Combined with the basic framework of power syst em in iron and steel works,this paper expounds some methods of how to realize the safe and stable operation of power system from the aspects of initial design,relay protection configuration,operation management and so on.Through the design,configuration and management of the whole power supply system of iron and steel works,a strong power system protection system is constructed to realize the safe,reliable and high quality operation of the power system of iron and steel works.
