Three-Dimensional Stress Calculation of the Tectonic Stress Field in Songpan Earthquake Region

一、引言冻结切片法是三维光弹性应力分析的一种重要方法。过去用此法解决较复杂的三维问题时,通常要从两个模型中分别截取主切片和副切片以获得计算所需的补充信息。本文介绍的平行系列切片法是从一个模型中截取一系列互相平行的切片,通过一次正射、两次斜射,利用三个相邻切片上的资料便可求出各点的六个应力分量(见图1)。平行系列切片法也称一个模型法。和前面的方法相比,它有模型制作量小、切片磨片较容易、切片资料连续、完整且利用率较高等优点。

This paper presents in detail the parallel slicing method in three—dimensional photoelastic stress analysis and its application in the 3-D photoelastic experimental study on Songpan earthquake region. The theory and technique elucidated here is useful for the photoelastic simulation of three-dimensional tectonic stress field.
