The construction of large-volume under-water piers is a common construction type in the construction of oversize cross-river or cross-sea bridge. Large-volume pile caps are characterized by large area,thick steel bars,high concrete dosage,hard to maintain etc. In view of the current situation of large-volume pile caps' construction,the key to ensure their quality is the reasonable use of construction technology. This paper takes Dongzhou Xiangjiang River Bridge as an example to introduce the construction technology of large-volume pile caps through construction preparation,steel bar installation,the mixing ratio of large-volume concrete,and concrete pouring and curing measures etc.
