摘要
“五四”时期的音乐创作者大多主张“以西为师”,走“西化”的道路,对民族音乐持否定态度。而赵元任却熟悉和喜爱中国传统音乐,他强调借用西方作曲技术来提高和改进民族音乐,他的创作为中国民族音乐的发展奠定了基础。
Most composers during the period oi: the May 4th movement held that they should learn from the western method of composition and they objected to maintain traditional Chinese music. Yet Zhao
Yuanren knew and appreciated the Chinese native music. He emphasized to apply the western composi-
tion techniques to improvement the Chinese music. His thinking and method of composition is an important theory for the development of Chinese native music.
