Integration of Source Culture and Target Culture in Foreign Language Teaching

语言是民族文化的载体和表现形式。语言受文化的影响,又反过来对文化施加影响。外语习得应该包含文化的习得,引入文化的概念和思考方式。学习目标文化的有效方法是发挥本族文化的参照作用,在外语教学中交融整合本族文化和目标文化。

Language is a carrier and manifestation of national culture. Language influences culture and vice versa. Learning a foreign language should include the learning of culture, and introduce concept of the culture and way of thinking. An effective way of learning target culture is to fulfill the reference function of source culture and integrate source culture and target culture.
