Huang Nansen and Zhang Yixing: The Process of Differentiation Between the Theory of the Unity of Opposites and the Theory of the Negation of Negation

Huang Nansen and Zhang Yixing of Beijing University’s philosophy department believe that although in Hegel’s work the unity of opposites and the negation of negation have some differences, in essence they are the same. That is, they feel that in Hegel’s work the negation of negation is simply the unity of opposites. Positive-negative-unity is simply the process that opposites un-
