摘要 The period from 220 to 581 A.D. when China was ruled by the Wei, Jin and the Southern and Northern dynasties was an important era in Chinese history. The chief characteristics of this era in the field of thought and culture were the rapid flowering of metaphysics and the abrupt rise of Buddhism.
