Under the guidance of Carl Parkins Career Technology Education Improvement Act,the current paradigm of Career Technology Education in the United States is characterized by career development-oriented,strengthening ties with the working world,and emphasizing horizontal and vertical integration of Career Technology Education.However,the new economic model,skills crisis and unsatisfactory quality of graduates have also prompted the United States to think about how to make improvements.In this context,President Trump re-authorized the Parkins Act to promote the quality of career technology education by increasing cross-sectoral policy coherence,decentralizing power,and further strengthening accountability.
